'Trick or Treat Street' returns to University of Richmond Oct. 25

October 12, 2015

Bring your tiny ghosts and goblins to the University of Richmond campus for the 17th annual “Trick or Treat Street” Oct. 25 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This free community-wide service event takes place on Westhampton Green on Keller Road, which is off of College Road. Parking will be available on Crenshaw Way, outside the Jepson Alumni Center.

Local families can enjoy food from Firehouse BBQ food truck, a bounce house and other themed activities, including straw mazes, presented by costume-clad University of Richmond students. WebstUR, Richmond’s spider mascot, will also make an appearance.

“We love being able to provide a safe and fun environment for Halloween activities,” said Cristina Shipe, a UR student and President of Trick or Treat Street. “We look forward to celebrating this fun holiday with local families.”

Hundreds of children attend this event with their families each year. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or make a monetary donation to FeedMore, a local Richmond food bank.
