Facebook Comes to Henrico County

Adam Marquardt, professor of marketing, Robins School of Business offers the following comments:

“This is a major announcement and achievement for the Richmond Area.  It firmly validates Richmond as a significant player on the national stage for attracting forward-leaning businesses.

There is not a single major city or MSA that wouldn't benefit from Facebook opening such a facility.

The Richmond area is attracting the attention of outside companies because of our business-friendly philosophy, excellent geographic location and infrastructure, and our high quality educational institutions and talent pool.  It's a great place to do business, and more and more companies are recognizing that.

The Richmond area is rapidly branding itself as an East Coast launch pad for West Coast businesses.
