UR's Robins School of Business Earns High Marks on 'Poets&Quants for Undergrads' Undergraduate Schools Rankings

December 20, 2018

University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business ranked 25 in the third annual Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2018 rankings by “Poets&Quants for Undergrads,” the leading online publication for undergraduate business education news.

“It’s great to be recognized by Poets & Quants as one of the best business schools,” said Nancy Bagranoff, dean of the Robins School. “It is particularly heartening to know that our alumni highly value our faculty for their teaching and mentorship.”

Alums were asked several questions, including whether they would recommend the business program to a close friend or colleague. UR alums gave the Robins School an A. They also gave the school an A in the quality of teaching; an A for opportunities offered to nurture and improve business skills; and an A for the school’s efforts to bring students in contact with practicing professionals. The school received an A+ for faculty’s availability outside of class for informal discussions about grades, class topics, expectations, and mentoring.

The ranking is based on a representative survey of more than 13,000 recent graduates and school-reported data. Students across 88 schools were surveyed on aspects of admissions standards, academic experience and employment placement.
