Dominion Energy, Hirschler and Shamin Hotels Headline Spring 2019 C-Suite Conversations at the University of Richmond

The University of Richmond Robins School of Business announces three dynamic speakers for its 2019 spring speaker series.

C-Suite Conversations, presented by Robins School of Business and supported by PNC Bank and Chamber RVA, feature unscripted interviews with leaders from business, sports, and non-profit organizations.

Spring 2019 programs include:

Feb. 12, Courtney Paulk, President, Hirschler

Paulk has worked with Hirschler since 2002 and became the law firm’s first female president in October 2018. She leads the firm’s litigation section and co-chairs its construction practice. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law.

Feb. 26, Neil Amin, CEO, Shamin Hotels

Amin is responsible for 54 hotels owned and operated by Shamin Hotels under the Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels, and Hyatt brands. He also oversees the operations of Shamin’s Assisted Living and Dementia facilities in Virginia. Virginia Business recognized him as one of the Fifty Most Influential Virginians in 2016, 2017, and 2018.

April 4, Tom Farrell, Chairman, President and CEO, Dominion Energy

Farrell joined Dominion Energy in 1995, previously serving as executive vice president, president, and COO. He was named to his current role in January 2006 and elected chairman of the company’s board in April 2007. He is the presiding director of Altria Group and a member of the board of directors of AEGIS insurance company.

“We are thrilled with our lineup of speakers, each trailblazers in their industries,” said Richard Coughlan, an associate professor of management in Robins School of Business who leads the conversations. “And we are grateful to PNC Bank and to ChamberRVA for recognizing the value of this program for our students and members of the business community.”

All C-Suite programs begin at 8 a.m. in the Robins School of Business, Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium with a pre-event networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Programs are free and open to public, but registration is required.
