University of Richmond Hosts 14th Annual ChinaFest Film Weekend

University of Richmond will host the14th Annual ChinaFest Film Weekend Feb. 15-17.

The event, which is presented by UR’s International Education as a part of the International Film Series, aims to promote cultural understanding between the U.S. and China by bringing Chinese films, filmmakers, and scholars to the United States.

All films are screened in their original language with English subtitles. Screenings are free, open to the public, and will be held in the Robins School of Business, Ukrop Auditorium.  

Screenings include:

Fri., Feb. 15
     Tyrus, 3 p.m.
     End of Summer, 7:30 p.m.

Sat., Feb. 16
     The Search for General Tso, 10:30 a.m.
     Kaili Blues, 1 p.m.

Sun., Feb. 17
     Xuan Zang, 7:30 p.m.

This year’s ChinaFest also features a lecture on the history of U.S.-China relations and a celebration of the Lunar Year at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Complete festival programming is available online.
