Osher Institute celebrates its tenth anniversary at University of Richmond

Written by Sheryl DeLeo

Time does fly when you’re having fun: taking classes, attending Open Houses and annual Mixers, going to special campus events and all the other aspects of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute here at UR.  And for that reason, it’s hard to believe (but true) that we will celebrate our tenth anniversary of the Osher UR program in 2014. Special notice of this event will be on the fall Osher mixer agenda in September of next year. In addition, we’re putting together a tenth anniversary planning team of current and past Osher members. The team will be led by Sheryl De Leo, who will also serve as chair of the Institute’s Leadership Council in 2014, and is charged with coming up with ideas on how to commemorate this important anniversary.

Sheryl is actively looking for energetic, creative Osher members—who also have a penchant for fun—to help in this task. So, if you have ideas for the team to consider or you would like to be a part of the team, please contact her. Or if Sheryl contacts you directly, we hope you will agree to become a part of this team.
