The MBA’s "A Glimpse Inside of…” series is designed to help current MBA students learn more from area organizations about job and internship opportunities. The program will provide an opportunity for students to network with area executives and alumni while learning about the organization’s mission and values.

MBA students who attend the series will participate in an intimate setting where company representatives speak on their organization’s culture, philosophies and hiring practices.   “Having the opportunity to learn more about an organization’s culture is critical, as being a good fit with an organization’s culture is the most important thing as far as a MBA student’s  happiness in a company,” said Debbie Fisher, Assistant Director of the MBA Program and point-person of the series.

The Richmond MBA program kicked off its “A Glimpse Inside of…” series on Tuesday, September 28 in the Robins School of Business with featured speakers Chad Caples and Sergio Spitale from Genworth Financial.

Caples and Spitale are both senior recruitment client managers for Genworth Financial.  Caples focuses on talent acquisition for the Actuarial, Risk, Finance, Accounting, Investments, and Capital Markets functions across Genworth's domestic businesses, and Spitale focuses on talent acquisition and management for the marketing and operations functions across Genworth's domestic businesses.

This first installment in the series helped to educate MBA students about Genworth and the kinds of skills and abilities they are looking for from MBA students.

Other companies who will be featured this semester include: MeadWestvaco and Markel Corporation.  There will be a new company featured every month.  If you have suggestions for companies you’d like to be invited to participate or if you’d like to learn more about the program please contact:
