The 2019 schedule of University of Richmond Summer School classes is now available for viewing online. Bannerweb registration for continuing students opens at 9 a.m. on March 19, and non-UR students may now apply.

Continuing UR Students

Summer School at UR offers classes to currently enrolled students in the School of Arts & Sciences, undergraduate students in the Robins School of Business, students in the Jepson School for Leadership Studies, and undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies.

Continuing UR students, after consulting with their advisors, need not apply to Summer School, but may simply register in BannerWeb as usual starting Tuesday, March 19, at 9 a.m. Summer terms start on May 13, May 20, and June 24, and all terms end by August 3. Five-week, six-week, eight-week and twelve-week terms are available. Summer housing is available to continuing UR students; details will be posted as the summer terms draw closer.

Non-UR Students

Non-UR students interested in taking Summer School classes may apply for admission to Summer School starting today. There is no application fee, and the application process is as easy as completing and submitting a single-page application form to the Summer School office.

Undergraduate classes without prerequisites are open for registration to non-UR students; graduate classes require additional admissions information and may not be available for enrollment. And a selection of entry-level undergraduate classes are available to advanced high school students, too.

Course Delivery

Summer School offers online, hybrid, and face-to-face class meetings in compressed timeframes. These delivery options make taking a class or two during summer convenient, both for UR students who may return home or study abroad for the summer and for non-UR students who may spend their summer here in Richmond.
