Rick Glass joins board of campus conference and event directors international association

Rick Glass, manager of conference development and the University of Richmond’s Jepson Alumni Center, has been appointed to the board of directors for the Association of Collegiate Conference and Events Directors – International (ACCED-I).

He will join the board at its annual conference in Denver this month. A resident of Richmond, Glass has worked at the university since 1997. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Founded in 1980, ACCED-I is made up of 1,500 campus professionals who design, market, coordinate and plan conferences and special events on campuses around the world.  ACCED-I’s mission is to promote and advance the collegiate conference and events profession and set the industry’s standards of excellence.
