Two University of Richmond alumni who founded a financial services firm and were awarded $100,000 from AOL’s co-founder, will participate in a C-Suite Conversation Oct. 8.

Mat Dellorso, ‘09, and Fred Bryant, ’10, co-founders and presidents of WealthForge, founded the firm in 2009 and are considered leaders in the world of online private investments. The Robins School graduates have been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes and The New York Times regarding this industry.

Among their many accolades, Dellorso serves as a contributing author to "The CrowdFunding Revolution," and Bryant is a decorated soldier of the U.S. Army. He received a Bronze Star Medal for his service in Afghanistan.

In May, WealthForge was awarded $100,000 from Steve Case, co-founder of AOL, as winner of the Rise of the Rest startup competition in Richmond, Va.

C-Suite Conversations are unscripted interviews with regional business decision makers and leaders. Richard Coughlan, senior associate dean of the Robins School and director of The Richmond MBA will interview Dellorso and Bryant for this series, which highlights challenges and opportunities of high-level executives and provides insight about how they balance leadership obligations with the needs of stakeholders.

The event begins at 8 a.m. at the Robins School of Business, Ukrop Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
