University of Richmond Chapel Guild's Christmas House Tour to feature four historic homes and university chapel

Four festively decorated homes in Goochland County along with the Bottomley House and Cannon Memorial Chapel at the University of Richmond will open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 8 as part of this year’s University of Richmond Chapel Guild’s Christmas House Tour. 

Tickets for the bi-annual event are $40, which includes lunch at Hermitage Country Club. Proceeds from the event support the annual Christmas Candlelight Festival of Lessons and Carols. 

“The Chapel Guild Christmas House Tour is a great chance to get home decorating ideas and have a delightful lunch with friends,” said Chapel Guild president Jane Ranson. 

UR’s Chapel Guild is a group of 60 Westhampton alumnae and friends of the university who support the programming of the Chaplaincy.
