City of the Dead

Doug Winiarski, a professor of religious and American studies, examines the emergence of early American evangelicalism through the lives of ordinary people.
He teaches a course called "Richmond: City of the Dead," which he discusses in the August 2018 issue of Discover Richmond Magazine, produced by the Richmond Times-Dispatch.
