David Kitchen

David Kitchen, associate professor and dean in the School of Professional and Continuing Studies, is a volcanologist and geologist with expertise in climate change, earthquakes, and natural disasters. He is the author of Global Climate Change: Turning Knowledge into Action and was recently awarded a NASA education award to help develop a new course in global climate change. Kitchen’s research is international in scope, focusing on energy use and combating climate change.
