Laura Knouse is a psychology professor and clinical psychologist. She can share tips on how to stay grounded during uncertain times by focusing on and accomplishing your daily tasks.

"Self-regulation is a fancy psychology term for controlling your own behavior in order to achieve your goals, like earning good grades," says Knouse. "Self-regulation can be really tricky for most humans, but there are steps you can take."
"Set daily goals and manage any distractions that prevent you from meeting those goals. Build in consequences to help you stay motivated. Building consistency is key!"
