Jenny Pribble, associate professor of political science, is a go-to expert on Latin American politics. She is frequently quoted by top media on political events in Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, and Brazil. Pribble can speak to have these countries are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"[Uruguay] is weathering the COVID-19 pandemic remarkably well," said Pribble in a piece she authored for The Conversation. "While it has not eliminated the virus as simularly sized New Zealand has, Uruguay is one of just a handful of countries to effectively manage the disease."
