Political Rhetoric

As the director of UR's Speech Center and rhetoric and communication studies professor, Linda Hobgood specializes in public speaking, speech writing, and political rhetoric. Prior to her time at UR, she served at the White House with Special Program's and the First Lady's Staff. Her research interests include the rhetoric of American politics and the rhetoric of America's First Ladies.
