Anthony Sparacino, visiting lecturer of political science, is an expert on the American presidency, political parties, campaigns and elections, and American political development.
A primary focus of Sparacino's research examines the history of when governors became key players in national party politics, including the creation of the Democratic and Republican Governors Associations in the 1960s and the power of the governorship.
