Anne Marie Morgan, adjunct professor of liberal arts in the School of Professional & Continuing Studies, recently co-edited a college-level textbook on Virginia history and government.

Dr. Patricia B. Strait, Human Resource Management program chair, recently published the second article in her immigration trilogy in The International Journal of Interdiscplinary Social Sciences.

Dr. Erik Nielson, program coordinator of the School of Professional & Continuing Studies Communications Core and assistant professor of liberal arts, presented a paper at the Annual Conference of the National Women’s Studies Association.

Jane Dowrick, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute director, and Anita Kozakewicz, Osher member, have been invited to present a session at the 2012 Aging in America Conference in Washington, DC, on March 31, 2012.

An orientation session for newly-admitted degree-seeking students will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. in the Alice Haynes Room of the Tyler Haynes Commons.
